Welcome to the North-East Hip Clinic. We provide comprehensive care for patients with hip pain. The cause of hip pain can range from femoroacetabular impingement, dysplasia, any sports injuries you might have sustained, soft tissue inflammation or arthritis.
The team will perform a thorough assessment to understand why you have pain, nature of the pathology and extent of damage. This will involve investigations that would help reach the diagnosis and typically include routine X-rays and possibly MRI scan, CT scan or ultrasound scan depending on the suspected problem.
The radiographs would be analysed by expert musculoskeletal radiologists. Treatment options will be discussed and catered to the requirements of individual patients.
The North East Hip Clinic offers modern, patient-centered care for a wide range of hip issues. Our expertise covers hip pain resulting from sports injuries, femoroacetabular impingement, hip dysplasia, arthritis, and soft tissue inflammation.
We are committed to preserving hip function and enhancing quality of life through a comprehensive approach. Treatment options may involve identifying the issue and addressing it with physiotherapy, injections, or surgical intervention. If conservative treatments fail to improve hip pain, we may recommend hip preservation surgery.
In some cases, joint replacement surgery may be the best option, based on the patient’s age and condition. The surgical procedures for different conditions may include minimally invasive techniques such as hip arthroscopy, pelvic (PAO) or femoral osteotomy, hip replacement, or soft tissue reconstruction.
